Precious Paws Cat Sanctuary
Suffers Set Back

It is with deep sadness that we announce today that our shelter services will no longer be provided due to severe financial hardships. The downturn of the economy has brutally impacted small organizations such as ours who depends totally on donations from the public for support. For the past 7 years, our group has had a positive impact on the welfare of animals. With the help of the public we hope to gain the support needed to continue our efforts. As we move forward, our goal is to continue to advocate for the health and welfare of animals by raising funds needed for medical care of homeless/neglected and abused animals and will continue to raise funding for our spay/neuter initiatives. A dedicated planning committee is needed if we are to build a strong foundation for the future. We urge volunteers to apply.
Our hope is to one day resume shelter services and with the support of the public, we feel we will once again be able to provide top notch care for animals who depend on us for their well-being. For more infomation, email us or call 207-868-2828

I'm scared and don't know why my family left me behind. I am a sweet 5 year old lady who is spayed and declawed so I have to stay indoors where it is safe. New people and lots of noise make me a little nervous since I don't know what is going on. I would like to find another quiet home, but one that can keep me this time. Can you be my new fur-ever home? I am a discount kitty... call today to find out more.

Foster Homes Needed: We are in desperate need of foster care homes for Cats and Kittens that need one on one care. This includes prenatal kittens or cats that are skittish or nervous and require special care. These are needs that cannot be fully met in a shelter environment due to constant changes that often add to the stress of these animals. For the benefit of these cats, it would be best to place them in a calm, quiet environment with caregivers that can offer them love and patience to help them learn to trust humans. We believe this can make a big difference for these animals and help give them a chance at finding a permanent loving home. If you want to offer your help, please call or email us, we have kitties that need you!

Note: All our animals are tested for Leukemia and are FIV, mite and worm free. vaccinated for distemper and rabies, vet checked and spay/neutered by the age of 5 months.
